As summer evenings stretch long and warm, one of the winelands’ most popular outdoor events continues to draw locals and visitors into the heart of Stellenbosch.
Organised by the , the Stellenbosch Street Soirées have become a seasonal highlight on the town’s social calendar. Hosted in an informal, cocktail-style format, these open-air gatherings invite guests to sip, savour and sway while sampling some of the region’s finest wines alongside a variety of street food, all set to the rhythm of live music.
Where Wine, Food and Music Meet
For each Soirée, a section of oak-lined Drostdy Street is closed to traffic and transformed into a welcoming outdoor venue. Comfortable seating pods, wine and food stalls, and a live musical performance create an easy-going atmosphere that perfectly complements the golden-hour glow of a Stellenbosch summer evening.

Running once or twice a month from late October through to March, the Street Soirées may span several months, but tickets for each two-hour event are known to sell out quickly.
