Running from 25 September to 4 October, this year’s festival brings a dynamic visual feast across two iconic local venues, promising something spectacular for seasoned collectors, passionate creators, and curious culture seekers alike.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all showcase, the PAA has curated two completely distinct visual landscapes designed to highlight the full spectrum of South African talent.
The White House Collection: Refined, Rare & Remarkable
Step into an atmosphere of sophistication at The White House Theatre, where The White House Collection offers a premier, gallery-style experience. Designed for those with an eye for exceptional artistry, this prestige showcase features a meticulous selection of fine art crafted to inspire and captivate.
Selection is rigorous: an esteemed independent panel—comprising renowned art advisor Barbara Lenhard, acclaimed fine artist Elize Bezuidenhout, and celebrated South African artist Dallas Smith—is currently evaluating 54 artist portfolios. The result? A breathtaking, high-caliber boutique collection where residents and visiting art buyers can discover, fall in love with, and invest in collectable South African masterpieces.

For those who love energy, movement, and hands-on inspiration, the Plett Community Hall will transform into Community Canvas—an open, bustling, and inclusive creative hub. Here, traditional gallery rules are tossed aside in favor of connection and color.
Community Canvas brings emerging and established artists together alongside makers, art suppliers, and local creative businesses. Expect an interactive atmosphere packed with live art demonstrations, engaging workshops, and intimate opportunities to watch masters at work. Whether you’re looking to pick up a paintbrush for the first time, stock up on premium supplies, or chat with local sculptors and painters, Community Canvas puts you right at the heart of the artistic process.
