For the first time since the events inception in 2001, South Africa’s largest Women’s Day Celebration, the Totalsports Women’s Race will be hosted on one day (Friday, 9 August 2019 / National Women’s Day) across three major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban).
“We are extremely excited to host the Totalsports Women’s Race on one day across three cities,” says Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports General Manager: Road Running. “In previous years the event would kick off in Durban in July before heading to Johannesburg and Cape Town. This year we will triple the fun on National Women’s Day with women from all walks of life in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban uniting to take on a 5km or 10km road run (or walk) in support of PinkDrive.”
