Held at the scenic Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, this season promises unforgettable musical moments, celebrating South Africa’s rich talent and international acts.
January: A Month of Iconic Performances
On Sunday, 12 January 2024 iconic band Mango Groove takes the stage, marking an incredible 40 years of hits. Expect timeless classics, a vibrant show, and a few surprises as they celebrate this milestone with fans.
Afrikaans music enthusiasts are in for a treat on Sunday, 19 January with performances by Bok van Blerk and Elandré, who bring a mix of heartfelt ballads and toe-tapping tunes.
Closing out January, Mafikizolo and Ross Learmonth will deliver a soulful and upbeat show on Sunday, January 26. afikizolo’s Afro-pop sound paired with Learmonth’s rock-infused vocals ensures a memorable evening for all.
February: A Mix of Classical, Jazz, and Soul
February opens with an extraordinary performance by The Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, 2 February, bringing symphonic brilliance to the Kirstenbosch stage.
On Saturday, 8 February international act Soul II Soul, presented by Showtime, will serenade fans with their classic hits, offering a nostalgic journey through timeless R&B and soul music.
Matthew Mole, one of South Africa’s top indie-pop artists, will perform on Sunday, 9 February, delivering his signature acoustic sound and crowd-pleasing hits.
The Golden Oldies, a celebration of South Africa’s veteran artists, will light up the stage on Sunday, 16 February. This unique concert showcases legendary performers over 60 years old, celebrating their contributions to local music.
Finally, Dutch singer Stef Bos and friends wrap up February on Sunday, 23 February, blending folk, jazz, and storytelling into a heartwarming musical experience.
