Clanwilliam Wildflower Show – first show in 3 year

Clanwilliam Wildflower Show

The theme of this year’s Clanwilliam Wildflower Show from 25 August until 4 September is, “Let’s walk together”. It will be the first show that was built in three years. The idea is to pay tribute to the Cederberg’s many hiking trails. During lockdown, many hikers once again realized the importance of hiking these trails for their well-being.

Footpaths, with cairns showing the way, will lead visitors through this man-made landscape in the Flower Church. The show is created by volunteers who live in Clanwilliam.
A visit to Clanwilliam’s Ramskop Nature Garden will definitely also be worthwhile.

Volunteers have also been as busy as bees in this garden and the garden is looking great.
At least 150 new protea plants have recently been planted in this garden with its beautiful views over the Clanwilliam Dam.

“We invite you to don your vellies, so we can walk together through the veld, the flower show and the garden.”
