Boschendal is celebrating exceptional South African women with a day filled with art tours, panel discussions, laughing yoga and a mini-market offering some much-needed retail therapy.
The Boschendal Women’s Month Celebration will take place on Saturday, 13 August and will be a celebration of women who, despite working in distinctly different industries, all share a common thread of doing good, living consciously, and acting with bravery.
Positive Impact
Tamara Bright Patel, Chief Marketing Officer at Boschendal, says: “South Africa is home to some of the most exceptional and courageous women in the world. This year, we want to celebrate the impact women make in their communities and how their positive actions shape the world around us for the better.”
“We’ll also enjoy the lighter side of life with a bit of shopping, an interactive ‘laughing yoga’ session hosted by one of our esteemed guests, and a guided tour through our latest art exhibitions at the Boschendal Norval Foundation Art Gallery.”
Community activist, foodie and laughing yoga practitioner Kimon Bisongo will host a panel of exceptional women as they explore the many ways in which women make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large.
The event will take place at Boschendal’s Olive Room, with light snacks and bubbles served. Before the event, guests will be treated to a guided tour of the Vessel and Horizons art exhibitions at the Manor House Gallery, which forms part of Boschendal’s ongoing partnership with the Norval Foundation.
