Benguela Cove Winter Events

Benguela Cove has announced a line-up of events for the winter and spring seasons. With a range of offerings from live music to outdoor cinema experiences, there is something for everyone at Benguela Cove, says estate owner Penny Streeter.

For those looking to indulge in a leisurely weekend, Benguela Cove’s Moody Lagoon Restaurant is offering brunch with Bottomless Bubbly or Mimosas every Saturday and Sunday until 31st December.

The programme also includes Jazz Sundays on the Lagoon, where guests can enjoy brunch or leisurely lunch 10:00 – 17:00. Visitors can enjoy live jazz performances at the Moody Lagoon Restaurant for a fun day out with friends and family.

On Sunday, 3rd September, visitors can join the Race to the Sea. This epic 100-mile (165km) race ends at the beautiful Hermanus location, where riders and visitors can enjoy a stay in one of the luxury villas after the race.

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a Spring Winemakers’ Lunch on 9th September. Chef Annie Badenhorst and the estate winemakers will host a spring dining experience, showcasing the best of the season’s flavours.

Finally, visitors can watch their favourite South African team at the Rugby World Cup 2023 live-streaming event from Sunday, 10th September to Thursday, 28th September. There is premium seating at Benguela Cove as visitors immerse themselves in the thrilling atmosphere of the world’s most prestigious rugby tournament.
