Zandile Ndhlovu, also known as Zandi, the Black Mermaid, returns to MC the Marine Science Symposium. As South Africa’s first black female freediving instructor, her journey from the 2022 launch to now includes notable achievements such as authoring a children’s book and participating in the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. Her enthusiasm for community engagement and ocean advocacy is contagious.
