Celebrate Heritage Day weekend at the V&A Waterfront and enjoy a variety of activities taking place across the neighbourhood. Entertainment for the weekend will include musical performances, a braai, Rugby World Cup screenings and more starting from Saturday, 23 September. The Biiig Braai with Ukhamba Beerworx and friends
Ukhamba Beerworx and friends invite you to a Heritage Day braai experience with a difference. The Biiig Braai at Makers Landing, Cruise Terminal aims to pay homage to the integral role of braais in the South African culture. If you feel like enjoying good music, traditional braai dishes and local beer while taking in views of shipping traffic in and out of the harbour, the day will be yours to enjoy.
Join us on Heritage Day, 24 September and take in live performances by Black Magic, Bassik, DJ Mamba, and Twinzspin to name a few.

WOMAD Cape Town
Head over to the V&A Waterfront for the WOMAD Cape Town festivities taking place from Saturday, 23 to Monday, 25 September from 1pm.
Entertainment includes performances by a selection of exciting global artists from 11 countries together with some of the Cape Town’s finest local artists. There will be something for every arts fan with a broad spectrum of music and dance performances, workshops and a Buskers Showcase over the full three days.
Visitors can look forward to seeing performances and exhibitions from Mansoor Joseph, Anabel Veloso and Gabriel Perez from Spain, Green Clover Irish Group, Adamu da Silva from Angola and YoungstaCPT to name a few. For full line-up please visit, www.womadsa.co.za

Come cheer the Bokke at the V&A
The V&A Waterfront’s Amphitheatre and Makers Landing are home to the Rugby World Cup screenings.
Bring your friends and family and get behind the Bokke. On Saturday, 23 September the Springboks take on Ireland, game starts at 9pm. Don’t miss out.
Record & Music Fair
That’s right – the Record Fair takes place at the V&A Waterfront on Saturday, 30 September 2023.
Visitors can head to the Watershed from 10am to 2pm to get their hands on records they have always wanted. Expect over 3 000 vinyl records waiting to be discovered, as well as a great selection of CDs, music books, band merch, tees and cassettes on sale. There will also be DJs on decks throughout the day.
