Stillwater Sports, the organiser of the Totalsports Women’s Race, is thrilled to announce that the Cape Town race will take place in 2023, and the exciting new event date is Sunday, 1 October 2023!
“We’re thrilled to announce that the Totalsports Women’s Race Cape Town will take place in 2023, with the new date being Sunday, 01 October,” shares Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “The decision to postpone our Cape Town event from August (due to the taxi strikes) was undoubtedly one of the most challenging we’ve faced as event organisers. We’re incredibly grateful that our sponsors, particularly our title sponsor Totalsports, shared our commitment to rescheduling rather than cancelling the event. Witnessing the joy and enthusiasm of the runners in Joburg and Durban on National Women’s Day, we were determined to provide Capetonians with the same experience. We look forward to extending the 2023 Women’s Day Celebrations to Sunday, 01 October at the Totalsports Women’s Race Cape Town.”
